Did a search and found this old thread about lack of Txt a Park with 2 Degrees. http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=85&topicid=72580

Thought I'd post a new one as I see a rep from 2 Degrees posting on here these days. Any idea if it's ever going to happen? Can't have VF and Telecom having all the fun!

Hi, yep, we are working on it and it's on the roadmap but can't give an ETA at the moment, sorry.

No known issue, I get them ok (whoops! shouldn't endorse my bank). Do you have a ported #?

Can you PM me the your # and the time it would've been sent please?

Cheers

Yes ported number. When I called ASB they said it was a known issue with 2 degrees. 8th October around midday.

Me too. First thing the call centre asked was whether I was with 2degrees, because there was a known issue. Also a ported number but has worked no problem in the past.

I just got caught out by this lack of txt2park on 2D. I don't normally do it since I find it's just as easy to slide a CC in and not fumble around with texting.

Then in a hurry and trying to park in the city, found the machine would not read my CC for some reason. Tried a bunch of times and then thought I could text only to find the text had failed and then recalling this or some other similar thread.

In the end I had to find another machine that would read my card and averted a potential large parking fine that way.

Pretty annoying really.
