I've changed the threat title. People seem to ignore or not understand that

When are people going to put a couple of seconds effort into this small thing?

I've changed the threat title. People seem to ignore or not understand that

a) better thread title/subject will bring more discussion
b) better thread title/subject makes it easier for pages to show up in search results making it easier to bring more discussion

When are people going to put a couple of seconds effort into this small thing?

Sorry.

SteveON: Yes well done for being able to put business in front of the plan name...

Yeah - just been comparing them... So people were really, really waiting for them to be called Business Plans before moving over!??? Surprised

The free calling groups hasn't really been well-known until now, as well as the ability for a company to be set up with a single account with multiple numbers.

What?! You can set up a single account with multiple numbers? Think I might head down to the 2D store this afternoon and sign up!

I expect to see giant billboard and flyer's everywhere on this one. It is a huge bonus and I know it will kick the a$$ for any talkzone plans Vodafone currently offers $140 odd just to have vs $39 per person...

Haha the word A S S is bad? Come on...

And you can get it with a minimum of 2 connections, not 5.

Wow - that's good!!! OK, I take it all back. Smile

Do you have to be a business to sign up, or can family groups sign up too?

Is it any issue moving off Pay Monthly and onto the Business plans?

I really don't get it. These plans are identical to consumer plans.

How does this generate anything like the emotion shown in the OP?

especially since, from the website, it seems that the pay monthly plans get bonus minutes AND bonus data, but the business plans only get bonus minutes. So they are, it seems, worse than the consumer plans.

"Carryover Minutes? - Keep any unused minutes for a year
Bonus minutes every month for a year
Plus for a limited time get 1GB bonus data every month for a year on $59 plans and above "

ETA: ah, ok, just re-read the thread. I see the calling groups part now.  that is pretty good, but doesn't it raise some questions about 2degrees complaining about Telecom and Vodafone having calling circles when this is basically the same thing?

Well then, to recap:

2degrees business plans are the same as the consumer plans except that they get calling groups & FCNs, with a smaller minimum connection number (2) and lower prices ($149 inc. GST vs. $136 ex. GST for 'inclusive' calling*).

And on top of that you get bonus minutes and data too.

*'Inclusive' is lawyer-speak for 'unlimited as long as you're not silly about it'.

Can you have a Vodafone or Telecom number as part of your calling group or FCN?
