Hello everybody,

Wondering if anyone else has suffered from this?

I've got an auto top-up on the 20th of each month for $30, with the 1GB data pack to come out on the 21st.  I noticed yesterday that my datapack was active (i.e. all data charges where zero) until the 2nd of August, however on the 3rd of August it started chewing through my credit after checking the website last night.  The only reason I noticed this was yesterday it gave me a low balance text when in fact I should have had around $40 on the account.

I've tried to contact support but haven't had any replies and my email hasn't even had an automatic reply yet so I don't even know if 2 Degrees have recieved it!

I've noticed a few other threads with datapack renew issues but I thought this was slightly different.

Is it just me?

Cheers

Chris

They did change from auto renew every 30 days, to auto renew on a new calendar date. As I noticed mine renewing a different day each month, and got annoying when an auto top up would happen on a calendar date.

Perhaps you've been affected by this slippage? and the top up will happen on a later day?

When did this change happen?  For the past few months it has always renewed on the 21st, including July 2011... However it seemed to stop on the 3rd of August so it surely can't be due to a calendar month issue...  I'm pretty much down to $0.40 credit and refuse to top up until I find out what has happened... Hopefully I'll hear from Customer Service soon.

Only recent I thought....I had a reminder to myself to reset mine this month...

But I could be wrong.

Hmmm... I've read the terms and conditions of the data and it simply says that it will renew the data pack when it expires, unless they've changed the rules without changing the terms and conditions.

Hi Benoire, there's been a few customers affected by the expiry date change which sounds like what's happened here. Please can you PM your MSISDN so I can look into this for you.

Cheers

I like that 2degrees PR watches this forum, but people shouldn't need to post on a forum to get support for a service they pay for.

To be fair, I think it was because I @'d 2degrees on twitter. Disappointing the OP didn't get a response via the regular support channels.

I topped up $150 for my 12GB data pack last week but it didn't auto renew, and now all $150 is gone.
