I have a NZ new, Vodafone, Sony Ericsson F100 Jalou. I have set it up to use the internet, which is dead easy, but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong in order to get the MMS to work. I have 3 important messages I cannot view.

Under picture message settings, this phone has 3 options only:

"MMS profile name",
"Message server",
"connect using"

I tried message server as: http://mms.2degreesmobile.net.nz:48090,
and connect using [put the internet connect 2 degrees], meaning I've selected the existing option with radio button of using 2 degrees internet to get mms.

Then I tried creating another account to replace internet figuring maybe it needs to use WAP or something, first question was packet or circuit switched, I chose packet switched, then next it asks is "name" and "apn", to which I put mms and mms. Then after that it gives addition fields...

APN, user name, password, login request, IP address, DNS address, Authentication, Data compression, header compression, proxy settings.

I put mms as APN, and with/without 118.148.1.118 under IP address.

Can anyone spot what I have hashed up?

Not sure if this will help but i found on Vodafone i had the same issue of not being able to accept MMS messages. In the end i found out that all i needed to do was send an MMS message from my phone (somehow this must register it on the network as being MMS capable) before i was able to receive them properly

Your proxy should be 118.148.1.118:8080, leave IP address settings blank.
