Hi,

Is anyone aware if call diverts are possible on prepaid? I'm interested in diverting all calls to another number.
I'm not a 2degrees customer yet so I can't test it.

The reason behind this is that I have a Vodafone number that I no longer use but I'd like to keep it as I gave it away as a contact number to a number of people. As Vodafone doesn't allow call diverts other than voicemail I need to port it away.
The simple solution would be to divert all calls to a 2talk number and get an email advising about a new voicemail. The call volume will be extremely low so I won't care about the $0.44 or whatever it is for a national call.

Thanks.

As long as the number you are forwarding to is a National number - 2D can not forward to an international number

Are you on prepaid or postpaid? I recall it's working on postpaid but not on prepaid.

You can divert on postpaid numbers, but not on prepay.

Really? Why hasn't anybody complained to me about that yet?

Ah that would be it then.

Seems strange that it works for one and not the other though?

I think he means no diverts are available on Vodafone prepay, so you can relax.

No it's getting diverted to a 2 Degrees number so it's only logical that the complaint would go to 2 Degrees Tongue Out

(Note: I'm joking here but I'm sure salty gets lots of complaints that should even be going to him, I suspect this was his point).

Well that's true, yes, but in this case I was *sure* prepay could divert (nationally) but might have been going crazy. It's been one of those days. And I still have hours left of it.

^^^ Sympathy for ME NOW

You were right, you were going crazy, just not in the way you thought.

Now everyone say "awwwwwwwwww" and buy Salty a beer Money Mouth so he can drown his sorrows and won't need so much sympathy.
