Any message you send to 8987 will cost you 9c per message when in NZ or 88c per message when you are roaming overseas. You will not be able to use text messages included in any value pack or any Plan entitlement for this service. You will not be charged for any text messages you receive from Twitter in relation to this service.

Nice to have the service enabled, glad I went hunting for the bolded information. That could have been disastrous for me.
