Some of you may know that I manage intranets. From large to small companies, from simple to complex systems. Intranets aren't just about the technologies, but the business problems that they try to solve. I'd say this is probably more important than whats going on behind the scenes.

Something that's really growing in the intranet industry is gamification. It's something many of you are already familiar with if you're a gamer... but how can it be applied in a business/work context?

You might be interested in this free course that's starting at the end of this month:

https://www.coursera.org/course/gamification

I've signed up and would be keen if others here did too so we could chat about what we're learning, bounce ideas and have some robust conversations of this concept.

p.s. mods if this isn't the right board, please can you move it to the right spot. Thanks :)

So, who is taking this course at the moment ?

Im finding it tough going, not the content, but time wise - Ive got a quiz, assignment and a bunch of lectures to catch up on before Sunday... then I have life before, during and after all that :)

I almost feel as if theyre rushing us through this course... maybe its just me.
