There was a discussion on this topic on Geekzone more than three years ago, which I have read, and I wonder if that advice is still current, ie: use a New Zealand company such as Expired Domains to place a bid at the moment the domain name is released after the 90 day waiting period to maximise my chances of getting it. The earlier discussion is here:

Incidentally, the domain I am after is a org.nz domain rather than a co.nz domain, so there may not be the same level of competition or interest for it. Should I still use a third-party like Expired Domains? Or does registering my interest with them lead to the domain name being listed on their website thereby alerting others to its impending availability?
I would welcome advice from anyone experienced in sucessfully snapping up an expiring domain.
