I understand that snap! are able to provide fibre connectivity to their customers, however, I can't for the life of me find any information regarding this on the snap! website.  Am I blind or is it just not there?

I could not find any info apart from this below.

( For even greater bandwidth and speed ask us about snap! Fibre and VDSL starting from $250 per month. We also have network redundancy services. )

Would like to see the Fibre plans.

It's probably business grade fibre which is 500+ a month

Maybe, but other providers are offering UFB now and their prices are pretty sweet! Orcon's normal prices are $134 for 100/50mbit and 200GB of traffic! I'd pay that in a second!

Their VDSL ad also says:

We're sure you've heard about the Ultra-Fast Broadband initiative, bringing Fibre to the home in urban areas over the next 10 years. Snap is ready and raring to go, if UFB has been deployed in your neighborhood, give us a yell!

So maybe they'll do it case by case for now?  (Maybe makes sense given the slow rollout and uptake?)

My parents can now get fibre at their place. I emailed Snap on Monday, and so far I have only had an email saying it has been passed to the apropriate person.

I believe they're just about ready to offer UFB. They installed some gear in Auckland the other day to give them access to the Chorus UFB network (AFAIK). I'm hassling them to install fibre at our office, but they have to try and get permission (it's a multi tenant building).
