Last week I signed up to snap VDSL plan but haven't quite changed over yet.

They have released new plans for UFB (see other threads) but also they have released new VDSL plans. One new VDSL2 plan includes "Snap Plus" marketed as VDSL+VOIP phone.

What does this mean exactly? i.e. ignoring call rates, is this any different to just getting a snap VDSL2 plan (like what I signed up for last week) and connecting to e.g. 2talk or another VOIP provider?

Also if Snap read this thread - for existing/old plans, is there a 'VOIP addon' for these plans or would we have to move to the new VOIP plan?
