Wow, that's an awesome effort. I did have ~150GB/month, now I'm seeing 275 :o It doesn't seem that long ago I was on 60.

Great work!

Something to clarify:

- I was on naked + 125GB add-on or what ever it was for $85 with total of 155GB
- Now my cap is at 260GB with unlimited data from 1am to 7am

is the price same?

@nakedmolerat but previously SNAP would not increase price for their existing customers without a notice.

So, it would be a nice thing to know from SNAP.

nakedmolerat: the ultimate question, will this degrade the overall network performance?

This does worry me a bit since I already seem to be suffering from what appears to be congestion of some sort in the evenings:

Doesn't seem to be very widespread, but it'll be interesting to see what happens in the next Truenet report - it's certainly having a huge effect on my truenet readings, not sure if this will make it any worse...

sidefx: Snap you beauties, love it!! :)

Wow, just logged in and as well as my addon increasing to 100GB (+base amout + teched addon means I have loads of data) but also noticed at the top that 1am-7am data is unmetered. Wicked!!!

Better yet, if you purchase an additional data pack then data usage nights between 1am and 7am is unmetered, and doesn?t count towards the monthly allowance.

Hmmmm just flicked SNAP Accounts an Email as my naked ADSL account is still showing my old plan details.  If everyone automatically shofts to these new accounts will be very very happy.

So thankful I made the shift a while back from XNet!

Love that they upgraded existing plans without people have to change it themselves!

Actually works out worse for me thb.

Previously I was paying $75 for 70GB which was mostly perfect. Now I'm either paying $70 for 50GB (which isn't quite enough) or $85 for more than I need.

So basically it'll cost me $10 more a month to do what I do. And $10 more a month for customers that were previously paying for 30GB.

I'm happy to see the increase value for 'power users' but it's at the expense of regular customers imo.

....is actually a pretty big deal.
It means you can purchase just the 100GB add-on, so only pay $90, and your 100GB only gets used up during the day. You can do all your torrenting, backups etc overnight (a good time to do them anyway) and go hard but you still have plenty of data for Netflix, Quickflix, etc at peak time

Seems a bit overkill to have unmetered nights AND the 1TB add-on though. How many people are going to use 1TB exclusively during the day?), but still, the more the merrier.

ETA: just realised they actually zero-rate quickflix anyway, so that makes the 100GB even more appealing than the 500GB or 1TB unless you plan to do some serious downloading during the day that cannot be done at night.

Got told about this at work today and so checked my account and sure enough I now have 250GB add on rather than 145GB add-on (for the same price). This is effective today so thanks to that I have 150GB to use before 10am Tuesday when my cap changes over.

Thanks goes to whoever pointed out that 1am-7am is also un metered as I could drop back to the 100GB add on (125GB a month) and then schedule everything for 1-7am. Saving money wherever I can is a good idea!

Woww ... pretty good plan to start with.

Mine was $60 for 10Gb and a $10 add on for $20Gb ... so paying just a little less for a lot less Bandwidth.
