You might have to enter play store address but it's AU proxy and confirms 249/299 AUD pricing

Shipito from US might be best, there was also another shipping forwarding service I can't remember the name of that I think was better

7" is about the right size and portable enough to carry around for trips
now the question is where can I import one :p

No, I doubt you'll see it in retail stores that soon! You need to go via play.google.com (sadly not NZ though) instead. Unless it is people reselling them, which I expect will happen soon enough.

I suppose the best way is to find a US proxy to view the play store and then use shipto? (I'm guessing about US$25 shipping for shipto? Just from punching some guesses in)

Question however is do I get the cheap 8GB or the more pricey 16GB? An extra US$50 is a fair amount more. Pity about it lacking microSD as that is the #1 feature I wish it had, oh well... at that price we can't expect everything!

Shipto works well.. and ive had no problems with the 3 things i have shipped via them. i would sign up there first before you go ordering the device though

yes they do charge but thats to make sure you are legit, its a token amount if i remember correctly and you may even get it credited to your account. (its been quite a while since i signed up so its a bit fuzzy). Never heard of that company, why risk it?

blakamin, are you personally in Australia now or viewing it via an Australian proxy (like was given earlier in this thread)? That could be the reason.

Damager, lol they are sooo lost in the second video! The ending is funny too.
