Plus 4.3% paypal/CC PLUS 8% purchase cost fees, was getting excited for a minute there Yeah, I read the first line and got carried away. Back to scrounging a favour from US family or friends for me then. Those fees are like death by a thousand paper cuts!

From the un boxing of the Nexus 7 there is a lot of spare space in the box, so anything like USB/OTG cable, Micro SD reader and 64G card, Nexus hard case, etc would all fit in the re boxed package. Even a digital camera, get shiito to consolidate and re box and save shipping costs

Signing up to a US VPN. For the grief one avoids I think it is worth it, and the monthly US Bank fees of $5.

It might be just - but it's more of a pain Thats assuming you have someone in Aus, which I have not. and Clove is this not a UK company 160 x 2 = 320 plus shipping and insurance from UK? How much is that?

Also re web site google are charge 10 pounds delivery to uk address.

^ Yea I've asked Clove just to confirm, and hopefully extract some pricing details My post I'm stealing from XDA: "Possibly the cheapest way to get a Nexus 7 outside of Play Store countries: Buy it from http://www.clove.co.uk/ they haven't announced pricing yet but I'm assuming it will be 199 quid for the 16 GB model. International orders have VAT removed so that's 166 quid + shipping. For me in New Zealand that means it will be $371 NZD. If I were to get family in Australia to buy and send me one would be around $440 NZD. From the US using shipito would be $400~ NZD, and that's if I do have an US credit card, which I don't I've asked Clove to confirm that international orders will be 199 minus VAT just to make sure and will update this thread. Clove insures all packages, regardless of shipping method by the looks of it. Int Airmail Tracked is 3-7 working days but the FAQ mentions 14 days for Aus/NZ Technology Journalist for Mobile Kiwi Twitter: @ArchSerpo
