I have a huawei sonic phone running android 2.3.4 and for some unknown reason yesterday it decided on the home screen its going to auto hide the status bar. When I open anything else it comes back.

Its annoying as usually from home screen I pull bar down to turn my net on.

Where's the setting to stop it auto hiding the status bar on home screen?

This is a setting that  most launchers have.

From the homescreen hit menu > preferences/launcher settings or similar. You be able to find a setting in there that hide the status bar and uncheck it.

Devices: Samsung Captivate (AT&T Galaxy S) and HTC One on Telecom. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

I know where you are talking about, but there doesn't seem to be an option.

I press menu, home settings, and can change launcher, set icons, animations, screen number, and that's about all. Nothing under those menus.
