Ok so there are a bunch of A10 tablets on Trademe at the moment. I picked mine up last week in Beijing and overall quite happy with it.

AMPE A85 Deluxe
  • Same as the Sanei N83 Deluxe
  • OS
    • Android 4.0.3
    • Baseband 4.0.11
    • Kernel 3.0.8+ build@emma6 #2
  • Specs
    • CPU  All Winner A10, 1.5GHz  capped to 1.0GHz, Cortex A8
    • GPU: Mali 400
    • 1GB Ram
    • 16GB Storage
  • Benchmarks
    • NenaMark2 on it and got 22.4 fps which is Ok (ish).
    • Quadrant Standard Benchmark which got 1682

I mostly got this for my daughter to use but overall its proving to be quite capable. I might look at one of the Cyanogen builds as the N83 is currently well supported.

I've got an Ainol Aurora Novo 7 (version 3) which is very similar with a pretty decent 7" IPS screen. I ditched the stock (laggy) firmware for CM9 a little while ago, and will not go back. It's mainly used for watching video, web/forum browsing and as an ereader.

I've found excellent information on Slatedroid, especially dev support for CM9 and CM10.
