Shame the Nexus 10 is so ugly. And having no cellular option is a definite deal breaker for me. Other than that, specs look nice Twitter: ajobbins

Personally I like the look of the N10, it hopefully follows the in hand ergonomics of the S3 and the front facing speakers are a nice touch, ironically the combination of wifi & GPS without the expense of 3G is. Win for me as I would only be using it tethered or on wifi. I am surprised at how aggressively the N7 is price when compared to the iPad mini yet the N10 is nowhere near as aggressively price compared to retina ipad

I've decided that if i can net one for under $500NZD i'd probably bite and just deal with the limited storage. It'll just require a lot of micromanaging. Means I can upgrade sooner, vs $800+ phone where im spending up to twice the amount. Thoughts on how people will order one? I know there's no pricing available from other channels yet but perhaps some people have thoughts on what might be the best avenue. Play store with parcel forwarding? How will that go with GST? Local parallel import? overseas companies such as mobicity or clove?

I'm thinking I will buy ex-Australia, get it shipped to my sister in Sydney and then get someone to bring it across the ditch for me, will probably work out much the same as ex-USA + shipping

Not sure if that includes tax or not. If it includes GST< that's not too bad, if it doesn't, cheaper to get from the US.

According to GooglePlay AU earlier today N4 8gb AUD349 N4 16gb AUD399 N7 16gb wifi AUD249 N7 32gb wifi AUD299 N10 16gb wifi AUD469 N10 32gb wifi AUD569 And based on expected US pricing the N7 32gb 3G is should be around AUD349 The N7's slaughter the ipad mini's pricewise, the 3g is nearly half the equivalent mini, the N10's don't offer quite the same value over the retina ipads

If the Nexus 4 is around NZD $400, that puts it in line with other phones like the Motorola Defy Mini, and the Nexus 4 is the clear winner. It means that the average phone user can get a really good phone for under half the price of other AAA phones. A sure winner. Maybe even outsell the iPhone!

If you buy it from retail stores expect it to cost way more, but people at geekzone are savvy shoppers!
