K1000716:
kiwitrc: figured out why l  could only remove two at a time, I was selecting an installed app which made the remove box  vanish.  trap for noobs :-):-)

No, the real noob trap is trying to long press on apps to add them to your selection. ;)
Yours truly had given up and tried nearly everything (not kidding here) before realising that one...

Now I just wish the web version would let me delete old devices.

I added a quick how to in the original post for other noobs like you and me.

At least unticking the "Display in the list" option now works on the webpage for old phones, which has only recently been fixed. Not being able to remove them entirely is irksome.

"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your".  "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There".  You probably mean "lose" not "loose".  There's no such word as "Alot".

I'd given up on unticking that option as it never seemed to last. The next time I'd go in it'd be back to everything displayed again. If it actually works for a change it'll be enough to keep me happy for a while. No idea why they won't let us delete devices though.

Anyone else having FC's from the 3.9.16 app now? I've had to revert to my old one, but I managed to delete the crap first. Smile

If you mean old devices you no longer have, you can do this in the play store under my orders and settings >settings.

Which is what stevenz described, and something I've used for quite a while. Unfortunately it never used to work very long for me and would revert to displaying them all - hence the wish for a permanent delete option. You can imagine as Android gets older just how many devices would end up in there!

Unticking never worked for me until the current design, which shows apps installed per-device, was implemented.

Now, I wonder if the calendar will finally let me remove the broken NZ Public Holidays calendar...

I'm the same, but I suspect it has something to do with the fact that the three main devices I've used have had a lot of custom roms. My S2 alone made three separate appearances on the list, the Aurora 7" tab made two and so did the nasty old LG GW620F.

I hope it lasts this time...

There is a wishlist option for applications in Google Play Store v3.9.16.

You can add applications to your wishlist and then review, purchase or be reminded of them at a later date. Cool.

One thing I'd like to see is an option to stop further updates of a given application.

This may become more relevant for those stuck on lower Android OS versions and or the developer has a habbit of 'breaking' an app when the previous version worked fine.

I use APK Extractor to archive all my apps to my NAS and so have a fall-back plan, but even so one does have to be careful if your app is in a general update bundle on Google Play and you know the app will break your functioning environment.

For example. The application everyone loves to hate, Printshare; I was lucky and jagged a version that worked for my print environment, but it's never worked again in later versions. So I'd forever have a Printshare application update awaiting to be downloaded. I did email the developers, but got nothing. Think they've lost the will to live...bless.

This is great I have been wanting to be able to get rid of all the apps I have trialed for ages.

Would be so much easier if you could do it from the store via a browser.
A pile of tick boxes would make it a much more efficient process.
