Fraktul: I bit the bullet and walked down the road to buy one at lunch, have had a little play round so far and is definitely a lot snapper in UI and browsing than my GS2.

Nexus 4 yes, sorry assumed that was a given as this is the nexus 4 thread. Should have read ordering rather than wording.

Mate...both of you sentences need to be tidied up. Read the first one, then read the second one WTF???

Seriously...First off, you can't walk down the road and buy one...second, your second sentence makes no sense at , are you still drunk from the night before?

Yawm....or troll?

Firstly please don't assume to call me mate. Secondly please don't assume I live in New Zealand, in central London you can indeed walk down the road and buy one. Thirdly please read the fug and don't resort to personal insults.

Given the circumstances of the release, you asked for it...First you state what you state on an NZboard, not a UK board...you should know better...that makes you a Troll.

Second:I use mate b/c I live in NZ, you don't.

Third: Not personally insulting you...you insulted yourself by your writing.

Yes, I said it was a debacle didn't I. I may not live in nz but I am a kiwi and have been posting on this forum for many years before I came to the uk.

If you questioned how I got one you could have simply asked politely. Insinuating someone is lying and drunk is probably considered an insult in most cultures - certainly was in nz last time I was there.

So how much is in the UK stores outright? Which shop has it?

just got my shipping email from google for an 8GB, it's been picked up by UPS and should be at youshop in a day or 2!
To order I changed my billing address on my Visa card to my youshop address, and signed up a new gmail with GWallet with the matching details, went through without a hitch, albeit was a bit nervous when it was sitting there in 'pre-order' for a day or so.

For those sending through youshop, I got a Nexus7 in the post on Thursday through the same means, they asked me for a value and the box had what I quoted, which didn't include youshop postal fees, so if you're getting the 8GB you should be fine getting through customs under the threshold.

399 GBP. O2, 120gbp premium but had already arranged to sell my gs2 so I needed to sort something out.

Back to reality...I wonder if any of the XDA admins that use Galaxy Nexus's will switch over to LG Nexus 4's?

The reality where I am not a troll, yes.

Why wouldn't they, the platform has much the same benefits in terms of latest asop support and is a material upgrade in the view of most people I have seen commenting on xda

What did YouShop cost to get the Nexus7 to NZ?  How big was the box that it was packed in?

OMG Syphe you are the MAN!!

I just did what you said with changing billing address and new gmail + wallet account and purchased a chromebook without a hitch at all.

Oh god I wish I had that set up when I had a Nexus 4 in my cart two times

Thanks mate!!

it was $22+6 for shipping, ended up being over 500g so went into the next threshold, then I just opted for the extra $6 cover over $250 value, just in case :)

haha glad it worked for you.
I saw it mentioned on here earlier in the thread to use tunnelbear, so before the N4 came out thought i'd give it a try on a nexus7 to test the theory, but it didn't go through checkout until I setup a new account with the right postcode and stuff.
Ended up selling my old GTab 10.1 for $350 and the N7 cost $291 shipped, so i'm ahead $60, gotta be happy with that.

How did you get around having to provide a phone number for account verification and if you already have your card linked to another NZ google account will it still work?
Thanks.

How did you change your billing address to the US for your already owned Visa card without the Visa company going ballistic?

But I like the sound of this as an idea for all future purchases...might set one up specifically for this sort of thing.

Cheers
