Hi There! Requirements: Lightweight (<400 grams) Screen of around 9" or smaller unless weight under 400 grams High Resolution Screen Excellent quality screen 3g/Wifi (3g Optional but highly desired) FAST Android Decent Battery Life Would prefer something with an unlocked bootloader.

I just recently picked up a Nexus 7, mine is not 3g but you can get 3g, It's quite excellent and fits every criteria you have there.

Not high Res Screen (1280x800 with PPI of 224). I was thinking 1900x1200 or something even higher

Yah except they are like rocking horse poop to find! And Expensive to source locally. I can get my brother in law to bring one back out of the USA, but finding retailers with the 16GB model in stock is turning out to be difficult, and like you say.. it's HEAVY. 650 Grams is not comfortable to hold for any period of time. Anyone know if apps having trouble scaling to that resolution?

Sorry yes I see that, but it's a long way from the 340g of my 7.7 which is awesome, except for the relatively small low res screen.
