basicallythis: Airsure seems to have the best luck!

Sweet thanks for that, one step closer haha.

  • One last thing, the Galaxy 9000 page on Clove doesn't list the warranty period. I remember reading 2 years on one forum that correct?

  • Also doe the Clove Galaxy 9000 model have the feature that the international version are reporting of being able to do TV out via the 3.5mm headphone jack?

Sorry, I didn't see the warranty period, but I'm guessing at least a one year warranty.

The phone does do tv out.

The 3.5 mm video out thing is a bit of a bummer IMO. Standard definfition video out as a feature while removing compatibility with most wired music earphones with voice capability.

Samsung have basically switched the ground and mic on a 3.5 cable around, so my ultimate ears superfi 5 vi don't work with voice and controlling music. Plus its like one of the channels of the music has been dropped unless you hold the earphones control button in, so have had to tape it down :P

If anyone knows of an adapter that switches the channels back or have another solution?

Yes, the Clove ones support TV Out (SD definition via 3.5mm jack). I'm using my old Nokia cables and they work perfect.

Now I just need cyanogenmod ROM so I can play PSX/GBA (and soon N64) emus on my TV with a Wii Classic controller (the datel bluetooth one).

Good to know thanks :)

Any word on the warranty for the Clove Galaxy i9000s? Heard 1 year and 2 year, have emailed them but no reply yet.

Quite a few posts about it at Modaco, a few in Android Forums and XDA too, so I'm hopeful.

Asmodeus: Obviously not the end of the world, but no camera flash is a bit odd isn't it?
A flash is becoming less common on smartphones, as sensors are getting larger. Also LED "flashes" are being proven to be pretty much useless anyway.

Yeah, don't miss it on my Spica at all :) all my pictures off my old one with dual xenon were just people being blinded, my cats being blinded or people glowing with a haze of slightly blue light

I looked up the Samsung Galaxy Spica, it doesn't have any kind of flash whatsoever.

I didn't even know there is a phone with a dual xenon flash, which one is this?

he was talking about dual xenon which I dont think exists..
Dual LED yes.. but not dual xenon..
one xenon is enough, it will blow dual led away.

only android phone with xenon flash it is the milestone.

The decision not to put a flash on this phone was just silly, plain and simple, but if you are going to put a flash on, make it xenon..

yeah I know all about the SE K series, I've had THREE of them ;) I'm quite keen on my photography focused cellphones so am well educated on them, which is why I was surprised to hear about a DUAL xenon! :P

wondered if something had slipped past my radar... :o

oh, and Kilack the Motorola only has a dual led flash. Not Xenon.

i think some of the SE's have 1xLED + 1xXENON , LED for video, XENON for photo.

yup, none of the SE's K series have that but yes there are a few with that to overcome the 'limitation' of the very very short period of flash of the xenon (while an LED can stay on for many minutes if needed for video)
