Awesome..just tried purchasing my first app to find out that Clove put a hold on my card and charged it without releasing that hold. Now to wait until tomorrow to buy it...(CC company are releasing it at 4am (after updates?)) Thanks clove.

Hi All, Quick question - The HTC Desire has the a8183 version that works with XT's NextG network. Does the samsung galaxy S also have an applicable model? I'd love to go for this phone - but need it to work on XT. My other choice is of course the HTC if the Sammy won't work. :) Thanks! -- Cad

Yes, think Telstra is launching one in Oz any day now. Will need to be unlocked... or there might be Ozzie vendors already selling that model (UMTS850). HTC One X (AOKP Jelly Bean), on 2degrees

I'm loving my SGS but really wish I got the Telecom XT version. Not totally sold on Android... but I think if it continues to improve, it'll be great long term, so I might as well support it now to help it along.

Well im sorry SGS users/lovers but im going to go and buy a Nexus one today. No doubt SGS is a better device, but I feel that the Nexus one is more "solid". By that I mean it has better development, less bugs and the first for updates. Thats just my opinion anyway :)

The nexus is a fine phone and has some advantages over the galaxy definitely, both have their good points and bad points. Just check what screen you are getting on the nexus one... HTC have started putting SLCD on new batches instead of the AMOLED screens. So make sure you are getting whichever you prefer.... The SLCD should be an advantage outside (you will actually be able to see things unlike the AMOLED) but otherwise AMOLED definitely looks nicer, better colours, contrast etc.

Got my Galaxy S today =) Is there a way to connect to wifi networks when you disable SSID broadcasting on the wifi access point. I can only seem to connect when SSID broadcast is enabled. I can't seem to force connect. On my friends iphone 2g, i enabled SSID broadcast to setup the wifi account, then i could disable SSID broadcast, but still force connect to the wifi network. Damn still haven't received mine from Clove :( 2 weeks now. Something must of happened along the way... stuck at customs maybe ? The joys of Royal Mail and no tracking.
