be good to mention it in your post, because people who were not in the know to look on XDA for the "how to" may not realise how important it is to uninstall any previous lag fixes.

I think I'm going to wait. My phone is only a month old and I don't suffer from all the issues reported on here and XDA forums. Plus I don't feel confident putting this expensive device through flashing etc. hehehe... not yet anyway. :>

What is the best way to do calendars on the galaxy? I want to use six separate calendars I have setup on Microsoft outlook 2010 at work. Idealy they would sync directly to the phone and then sync to my home computer as well. On first trials of this, data was lost and calendars were made into one. Is the best way forward to use google calendars(talks to phone nice), windows live calendars(talks to outlook nice), or continue trying to get the direct sync from outlook on two computers and the phone?

Good News my 16GB i19000 arrived yesterday afternoon :D
Only took 3 days 2 arrive as well, which was a nice suprise :)
I've a question regarding user data that i can't seem 2 get a clear answer on.
I believe that when u erase user data it wipes your phone of all settings and apps installed and sets it back to factory defaults is that rite? Does it also remove rooting and also APN settings?
If you restore a backup you made with Rom Manager does that restore all the apps u installed and un-installed as well as your account settings?

basically what I want to know is if there is away of wiping all your account details and previous searches in market etc. without actually deleting the currently installed apps.

I guess you could do a factory reset and then restore apps from titanium backup without the user data.

How would I install Titanium backup without re-entring my gmail account details to download it again from App Store?

If you had the apk stored on an sdcard you could do it. I think you might able to run the apk from the titanium backup directory stored on the sd.

Titanium doesn't backup its own APK but you can download the Titanium APK directly from here: http://matrixrewriter.com/android/ .

Erasing user data doesn't remove the root changes, there are scripts for that e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728754

Rofl, i got a new one from Mobicity so I'm ok :p
Friend was sold his 8GB 2 upgrade to a 16GB the person he sold it 2 wanted rom manager/ rooting, Ti backup etc. all the apps he already had installed on the phone. So we were stumped as 2 how to remove the personal data without removing the installed apps and having 2 setup gmail account again to download Ti Backup so that he can restore the rest of the apps.

All sorted now :) Doesn't hurt that i now know wat 2 do in future as well ;)
