I think you're right. How long does it take to get the OTA install? The web market says my download is complete, the Market on my SGS indicates that it's downloaded but it has yet to appear in the apps list.

Any idea?

Yeah same but the Market on my SGS doesn't even show the app in My Apps. So don't think it's working properly yet.

It's done now. Took about 40 minutes I think, all up. Could be there's a huge number of folk trying it out right now, being novel and all, so I'll cut 'em some slack.

OK. That time the "Downloading" notification appeared within a couple of seconds so it seems they've sorted their problems out. So kudos Google for the swift fix.

I was able to log in without any problem.  But it's not up-to-date.  It says I've got Angry Birds installed.  Nope, not for a long time now.

It would be nice when you go to your account that you could sort the list alphabetically.  Maybe I ask for too much :)

I wonder if it is reporting angry birds due to the way it was uninstalled? I noticed stuff I had have uninstalled that I just killed in the application screen rather than unistalling via the market (where you get asked the reason you are uninstalling etc)

Ah, but when did you try to login - before 9am when everyone was reporting the problems or later than 9am when it had been fixed?

The market is showing my uninstalled apps as not being currently installed, but wouldn't be surprised if occasionally it happened that uninstalled apps still showed as being installed. Try installing and uninstalling the application again.

It's quite possible I did a "quick and dirty" uninstall through Settings | Applications.  I don't usually do that but I wouldn't discount it either.

Nope, after suggesting that I tried it both ways and no change so maybe it just means that its been installed rather than currently installed, or maybe its just a bug.

I see apps I don't have but were loaded to an Eken tablet I sold before Christmas. (I deleted the account, reset/reflashed it before selling.)
Yet it also shows all the apps on my current device (which I reset this year after an update). But all apps appear on the list under my current device.
