lokhor: Can anyone with the I9100T that has flashed ICS tell me which modem they are using for best performance on Telecom?

I9100TDCKL1 on both GB and ICS, better range than the DOKG2 also and I think Lee can confirm this.

Would this also be the best modem if you have a parallel imported I9100?

Thanks

On Telecom or Skinny networks I'd say so. My phone is a UK sourced international i9100 and runs well with this modem. If you've got an oddball i9100 (G, or one of the asian ones) I'm not sure.

networkn: But by choice get LP7, anyone know what the world wide release one due today is to be? I was surprised I didn't see any press about it today!

Yeah. DXLP7 has the latest build date, 10 March vs 9 March for LPE and LPQ

cokeman2: any new ICS rom out there has a fix for the go sms double sms yet? i cant find any on xda yet ?

Isn't that fixed in LP7?

Sammobile Official ICS Links

Yes I can confirm it is fixed in LP7 and also go are working on a fix with their next update.

I've just searched for the modem hoping to d/l it but I've come up empty. Or my search phrase sucks. Lee, do you have a link for the download?  Thanks

networkn: What radios are you guys using for GB ROMS for VFNZ?

I've found the quality of each successive modem better than the last for VF to be honest - the ICS modems seem to be really good (running DXLP7 currently).

Thanks for the reply S. I already had this thread as a subscription. So here's where my "search skills" seem to be failing.  I'm searching for: TDCKL1 and still coming up empty.

Am I searching for the wrong thing?  Cheers.

The XXKL1 modem is in the list at the top? Is that not the same at the TDCKL1 modem? Undecided

I think the original download link was "somewhere" in this thread. Rather than submit myself to that agony I googled it instead. ;)

Nope. That's an i9100 modem, not i9100T, damned if I know the difference but there is one.

so if I'm on a I9100 phone and not the I900T phone but still on Telecom then is the XXKL1 the right modem for me?

I was getting the same mileage from the bat using DXLP7 modem.
Hope it helps!

In phone settings is that the baseband? XXKL1 is what I have presently. Is your modem ICS specific?
