I updated to WanamLite 10.5 earlier today, and man does the OS ever feel smooth! The browser and launcher (Apex) simply fly around like they're teflon-coated.

It's based on the new XXLPS Polish release, so I'm guessing that Samsung's latest changes are getting closer to a decent, stable state. I'll have to reserve judgement on battery life for a while, though. Still not seeing fantastic off-leash times on ICS roms yet.

Have just updated to this also - yes, the difference is quite noticeable. . . . . I suspect there may have been a bug with the other WanamLite ROM's (or bases?) to do with external SD cards. . . . .I spent most of this evening trying to format mine and it was throwing it's toys. . . .I'd format the card via PC in USB storage mode, and when I rebooted the phone, all my files were back!!  I couldn't even wipe the external SD via Settings -> Storage - it would just hang and reboot.

Mysteriously, after updating to 10.5, I was able to reformat. . . . . .

Life is mostly froth and bubble, two things stand like stone - kindness in another's trouble, courage in your own.

SGSIII
ROM: WanamLite v1.3    Kernel: Ninphetamine v1.1.0   Modem: DXLEA

SGSII (Now belongs to SWMBO)
ROM: WanamLite v12     Kernel: Siyah v3.3.2   Modem: BVLPB

SGS

If you need a download-mode jig ASAP, you're welcome to borrow mine!  Works with SGS I/II/III.  I also have a SIM cutter available (Dunedin) - happy to post either to you at your cost.

I am having Bluetooth Issues on Omega, v8 is coming no mention of anything except new modem so perhaps that might do it?

I'm having Apex issues as well, fc's every reboot. Hoping for an update soon as it's driving me mad.

With the developer heading for on holiday for Easter there are few changes in the upcoming v8.0, other than being based on XXLPS.

Same here with Omega, thinking a switch to Wammalite might be worth consideration.

It's not just Omega, Apex is having that issue with a number of different roms on different devices. It's mentioned a few times in the XDA thread

Well I am thinking of returning to SPB3D Shell, since I have used it as my launcher for the last 12 months and I really like it. I am not sure what ICS features I'd lose though.

I really like the theme attached to the Omega ICS.

Neets:
networkn: Neets, if you missed out, I have ordered one, but if I don't like it, I'll sell it to you at what it cost me.

Thanks networkn.  I did place my order before leaving work so hopefully I'm ahead of a few people who have ordered this evening.

BigHammer: If they had 1000 in stock, mine would be order 1001. Not going to hold my breath :-)

I just had another e-mail from Adriatica and they say they have six left, so I doubt anybody will miss out. Just for the record, I have no affiliation with them whatsoever!

I still prefer Apex, and oddly enough it's now playing nicely now that the SPB launcher has been re-installed! Looks like the threat of competition has made it behave! ;)
I like some of the SPB launcher features, but it's not really as customisable as I'd like. It does have some great widgets though doesn't it!

I had issues with Siyah RC1 doing exactly the same with Omega v7, all stock settings. Going back to cf-root fixed it.

I got confirmation that mine was sent today so everyone who ordered before me should be getting one too Smile
