I reckon I could squeeze 5 days out with light use:

Life is mostly froth and bubble, two things stand like stone - kindness in another's trouble, courage in your own.

SGSIII
ROM: WanamLite v1.3    Kernel: Ninphetamine v1.1.0   Modem: DXLEA

SGSII (Now belongs to SWMBO)
ROM: WanamLite v12     Kernel: Siyah v3.3.2   Modem: BVLPB

SGS

If you need a download-mode jig ASAP, you're welcome to borrow mine!  Works with SGS I/II/III.  I also have a SIM cutter available (Dunedin) - happy to post either to you at your cost.

don't know what you do, but after 1 hr on battery i was left with 85% on abyss 2.7 (no partial wakelocks acc to betterbatterystats, but cpuspy reports 50% non deepsleep while sleeping!)

flops straight back onto siyah 3.2rc1

What ROM are you running?  As kiwitrc says, that's pretty excessive drain.  Feel free to posts screens of your BBS output and running applications - I suspect you've got an app doing updates, or using a location service.

there is no wakelock. nothing to see on BBS. there is a sleep issue with the kernel in my phone. on siyah i get 1% drain over 3-4 hours sleeping.

EDIT: overnight of course, why else would I spend $1000 on a phone just to put it to sleep the entire day

You realise that graph is showing the amount of screen-on time, not the number of times the screen was activated right?  Screen time is currently at 46 minutes, so I am actually using it. . . .

ETA: It doesn't seem Chainfire released an offering for LP5

Yeps saw that too. I remembered that I'm already rooted, so installed Siyah via Mobile Odin and then reloaded the new Ressurection so all good.

46minutes in 2 1/2 days is not really "using it" though is it......

I agree with joker, if i was only going to use a phone that much I certainly wouldn't fork out that much on a smart phone.

Fair enough.  Not to belabour the point, but all I'm trying to do is get the best baseline performance.  It goes without saying that the more you use the phone, the more the battery runs down.  But at least with this kind of consumption/battery life, I know my battery is being spent on my usage, not some rogue app or process.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but I just read a post on the Fluxi kernel thread suggesting a fix for the ICS wif-fi issue (not the toggle issue, but the WLAN_RX wakelock one).  Apparently it's neither the kernel, not the ROM that's at fault - its other devices on your LAN, specifically Windows 7 devices, spamming the phone with IPv6 packets, and waking it up.

Will try disabling this tonight on all my devices, and report back.

You see, this is the key to searching for the best battery life combo of kernel/ROM/modem/etc... to get the lowest possible 'idle' usage so that when the battery *is* used, it's used by you doing stuff.

Seems that people miss that point occasionally, and think that you're just after the longest possible run time between charges...

I'm selling my two 2000mAh batteries together as I'm getting rid of my S2 now in case anyone is interested. I only have one extra back plate that fits which is why I'm selling both batteries together
