So it seems that this phone is available for sale from noel leeming for $1199. However Im not sure when stock will be available. Just checked this morning for the model

It's loaded on the till if you give a sales person the item code 112208 they will confirm it.

I see. Maybe it is coming out abit earlier than we expected then? Unless its usaul practice to load an item code 2+ weeks in advance of selling it?

I just rang and put a deposit on one. Just seems a bit less....dodgy...then the parallel import places Wink

They guy seemed to think 2 weeks but couldn't be sure. I can wait...maybe!

Hey guys, can we keep discussions of availability and purchasing etc in the "anybody interested" thread, rather than gumming up the owners thread? Just makes this thread less useful for owners trying to wade through lots of stuff that isn't really on-topic?

I got 12 hours out of my battery today, first charge, about hour and a half of display time. pretty bad... im sure it should get better after a couple of charges though, anyone else have any ideas?

Should get a lot better than that, avoid using the Social Hub for one thing that will deplete the battery (don't ever even open the app!). Be careful about monitoring which apps are performing background sync type operations. Turn of auto-brightness in Settings, manually adjust brightness by longpressing the Notifications bar and sliding your finger side to side when you want to adjust the brightness (quick, better than auto).
