For the NZ site:

http://www.expansys.co.nz/expansys-mhl-to-hdmi-adapter-black-218572/

or

http://www.expansys.co.nz/samsung-mhl-micro-usb-micro-hdmi-adapter-for-galaxy-s-ii-217883/

All listed as "Coming soon"

They also list the USB adaptor:
http://www.expansys.co.nz/samsung-usb-gender-adapter-for-galaxy-s-ii-217884/

Looks like Samsung is badly dragging their heels getting these released. The announced USB adaptor for the 7" Galaxy Tab has only just been released for the new 10" version.

Apparently Clove _had_ stock of the Samsung MHL adaptor but it's all sold, more due in this week. USB adaptor delayed another couple of weeks.

Due to their high shipping charges, Expansys is about $2 more expensive than Clove if I were to order the genuine Samsung MHL cable & USB adaptor. Think I'll poke around on eBay instead :)

Nice, first battery charge lasted me 1.5 days

This time round I've had this "Wi-fi sharing" thing pop up on my battery list draining battery @ 27% being the highest.

I haven't touched tethering or anything like that :|

Seems to be common: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069295

Yup, it's a relatively useless feature too (basically AdHoc Wifi sharing instead of bluetooth). If you've got root access you can either freeze the app or remove it.

I haven't rooted yet, waiting for my sdhc to arrive so I can flash the stock kernel after rooting so I don't get that yellow triangle thing

Thing is with wi-fi sharing frozen wifi tethering still works, so it must be related to something else. According to others wi-fi sharing autostarts when wifi is enabled on the phone

Hopefully it gets fixed with 2.3.4

Just do it. I can send you my usb jig which will remove the triangle. It'll only cost you the return shipping to send it back when you're done.

I've frozen most of the wifi processes for about two weeks now, it was draining my battery very quickly and I haven't found any use for it yet.

Forgive my ignorance, but why is the yellow triangle an issue that needs to be resolved? I assume there's a good reason for removing it - I just haven't a clue what that is.

TIA

Galaxy S has gone to its new owner.
HTC Sensation running Jelly Bean 4.1.1, alpha AOSP ROM, on Telecom XT. Rough around the edges but showing much potential considering it's pre-beta. My daily driver now.

There is no issue, it's just stating that you have an unsigned kernel running, so more of an annoyance than anything

Its only an annoyance if you focus on it, it doesn't bother me at all and does not impact on the operation or function of the phone.
