Gemini: How do i get the onscreen keyboard up in gmail? Comes up soon as i touch an entry field on all other websites Weird, assume you are using the default GMAIL app? It just pops up for me no problem. Try changing the default keyboard to the standard android one and see if that helps (Settings -> Language & Input). Gemini: Also what version of Adobe 10.3 should I download? Options are YUM .tar.gz rpm and APT Assuming you mean the Flash Player 10.3? I'd just get the one from the market rather than from another source, just open market and search for adobe 10.3 and it comes up right away. Hope that helps.

Here's what's happened so far Android 3.2 downloaded when I first turned it on required 50% battery charge to install, worked fine once it was Tried to use Gmail through the browser. Doesn't work as keyboard doesn't come up for entering text. Gmail app seems fine Latest flash installed ok through market. Browser crashed unexpectedly Better at picking up wifi signals than my phone Will connect the keyboard later

Gemini: Tried to use Gmail through the browser. Doesn't work as keyboard doesn't come up for entering text. Gmail app seems fine I've had a rare problem with the keyboard not coming up on a couple of websites. Im using swiftkey for when I dont have the dock connected (it doesnt work so good with the keyboard dock) so assumed it was that particular keyboard. However, to solve that problem I just change the keyboard to the default Android one and everything works fine. In fact I know many people do that anyway as a lot of people dont like the ASUS one. Might be worth a try if you're having problems, you can always swap back at any time :)

OK mines turned up, wife gets to open the package tho! :D What do I need? Upgrade to 3.2 Dual battery widget Music/video player? Streaming software? Something to rip standard dvds to a small portable easily playable format?

In my humble opinion ;) Upgrade to 3.2: YES! Dual battery widget: YES! Music/video player: I'd recommend Mobiplayer over the stock player! Streaming software: There is remote desktop software installed which I use (splashtop, but ASUS hide it under MyCloud). I havent done any other media only streaming but someone else might be able to help ;) Something to rip standard dvds to a small portable easily playable format: I use DivX converter which works really well for me. I think I paid about $10 for it but was well worth it given how simple it is to use. The other stuff I use everyday are: Plume (for twitter) Newsr (for Google Reader feeds, although Pulse is pretty good too) SugarSync for syncing files with tablet from my PC (although prior to 3.2 this was a little bit buggy in terms of the 2 way sync, 3.2 seems to have fixed the problem). Others use Box which is good too. I also use FTP Server (form market) on the tablet to send files to the tablet over wifi, one thing that did frustrate me was the lack of easy way to get my media files from my PCs to the tablet.

Sometimes you need to restart the tablet to get it to show up (its sort of a bug with Android and widgets). Just long press power to shut down then restart it'll be there. To get into settings (and add widgets) just long press anywhere on the homescreen which doesnt have a widget on it. That'll take you to the area where you can add new widgets (among other things)

Look for widgetsoid which is free in the market. Will do heaps as a switchable widget including wifi on / off Galaxy SIII, Galaxy Note 10.1, ASUS UX31e Ultrabook, Mysky HDi, 2talk
