It would be interesting to share the experience of trying to find a good sleeve/case/protection/whatever for this thing. I'll wait till I receive it so I can try sleeves on but I am sure we should be able to find something that fits in the non-official range...

Unless someone knows if anybody is selling the official ASUS sleeve in NZ?

Just saw on the DHL tracking tool that my Transformer already landed at Auckland and went through custom.
Not sure how long it takes to be delivered after that but it might be quicker than I expected...

They have it in stock at Amazon (399USD for 16GB), and they also have the keyboard for 180.
But the keyboard is not deliverable to NZ :(
And the price for the tabled only would be around 700NZD with all included.
I think that going local would be better :)

Great, more things you can gloat to me about when you get into work :P

Keyboard is out of stock with Amazon again. Back to affiliate sellers and more expensive. Just search for Asus Transformer and it will come up.

I didn't have much luck with sleeves but ended up getting a Targus Zamba. Some photos here.

The length is perfect but width is a little large. It will easily take the tablet and keyboard dock if required.

Thanks for sharing. I should receive mine today and will probably go and have a look for a sleeve on the weekend. Now I know what I am looking for, thanks for that !

I got a sleeve from Noel Leeming for 40. It's ok, but i'd prefer a folio type case. Might feel different with the keyboard though.

Would you mind telling what brand/name it was? Thanks.

I'm not too sure. They had a bargain bin on netbook cases, and I grabbed the second cheapest one. They had a nice sleeve for $30, but it didn't have a pocket. This one has a pocket and carry handles. Noel Leeming Hamilton Central if you're interested.

I see there's a case on Amazon.com for $7USD but ends up being $30NZD after shipping.
