hairy1: Ph tech have New Zealand plugs to go on the US adapter. It shortens the plug up a bit and makes it less susceptible to slipping out of the US to NZ adapter. That's what I did with my US plug.

KevinL: ICS update is out - just installed on my apparently TW SKU'd unit (could have sworn it was WWE prior to the update, but maybe I'm mistaken).

UI is?significantly?smoother - very obvious in the app tray and other transitions. ? Lots of other improvements - well worth the wait.

Kevin, did you get it OTA or download it from somewhere?

Just got my OTA ob my tf101. Installing as we speak :-)

Since I rooted my EEpad, updates start then stall with a triangle of death. Cant go any further with them. Do I need to unroot to install updates?

OTA via manual check. My unit is indeed a TW sku - I had changed it to WWE at some point, but that was preventing me from getting OTA updates. Apparently it's a staggered rollout (as per usual) so may take a few days to be available on the us and WWE sku units.

I didn't need to unroot to install the OTA - even better, Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper restored root afterwards without any issues.

You might have a custom recovery (e.g. Clockworkmod) which would affect your ability to install updates, though.

Update complete after a manual prompt. Time to explore.

I got ICS for my NZ transformer this morning after I manually checked for updates. It looks pretty but does the same thing as the previous version, can't see any new toys to play with.

No new toys but the whole interface is smoother. The keyboard lag has gone with the web browser. It looks great!

Just downloaded by doing a manual firmware update request. Retained root using voodoo ota rootkeeper. Update was painless. Although I've just finished the update I am already impressed by the increased responsiveness of the keyboard dock and like the new system font. The email client seems cleaner but that is maybe just my imagination. I believe ICS has a 'swipe to dismiss' function for some apps, must investigate. ASUS is still high in my approval ratings for a timely upgrade considering the teething problems with the Prime. GPS seems to work perfectly well.

Oh and my TF101 is a NZ B70.

Now I just need to produce an ICS boot animation as the honeycomb one I made is 'so last year' :)

Edit: Some new features (to me anyhow) so far seem to be

Data usage stats
Swipe to dismiss on notifications.

I did notice the lack of the cross/close icon on notifications from the system tray, do you just swipe left to right to dismiss them?
