ArtooDetoo: 1 day, 6hours, and 5 minutes with 27% charge remaining. At that rate, it's going to run flat at around 36hours. That is some incredibly impressive battery performance!

scoobydoo: I purchased mine through Electron World.. excellent service, I'd recommend them! But of course they supply the Vodafone / 2degree version, not the XT version. So up to you which network you want to go on, as to where you want to get it from really. Is the Electron World stock ex Asia? Are they branded in any way? *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? Check my blog post

techsta: makes sense thanks lokhor (no pun intended.. until after) anyone care to post some stats from vellamo app ??? asus transformer = 945 htc sensation = 794 934 on my SGSII (and I think that number could be higher on a stock ROM, as deodexing does some funny stuff to the browser optimisations present on stock). SGSII = Galaxy SII = a phone. FWIW I cannot get get more than a days use out of my Sensation, I find that I need to curb my use to get a day out of it comfortably. They order it, have it shipped to them, then they ship it to you. Whole process from ordering to arrival was about 2 weeks. The only price you pay is their advertised price, no extra customs duties or GST.

I just ran vellamo on my stock sgs2 and scored a 943 so pretty much confirming your post

I've got the means of purchase, but I just can't see the extra $$$ making it worthwhile. Damn, the only way to settle this is to actually have a play with an SGS II and Sensation in store somewhere. Anyone know where there might be an SGS II able to be played with? <I'm in Wellington>

In a brief play you probably won't see appreciate how large the difference is, and the materials of the Sensation will unduly sway you - don't be fooled, its not a great design, and I believe the SGSII is the one that will last the longer of the two.
