CdTDroiD says it's not required for the new roms. I have a bad feeling that it won't support 850mhz either.

Well im so completely happy with this phone its large screen and features that i havent touched my iPad and decided to sell it, goodbye apple sorry to say you will not be missed. Hello HTC and Android. The extra screen real estate over say the GS2 when web browsing is excellent!

The worst thing that can happen with flashing a radio is you will not get any cell signal, wifi or any other communication methods.

All that is required to repair this is to flash back to the old version. Its not really possible to brick your phone with radio flashes, so just give it a shot and see what happens.

In regards to the slow downloads for IC - Best to use the second server. The first is always over loaded and very slow.

Just letting you guys know P3D Neon 3.1 ROM  was running fine
Then I tried playing a game called Ninjump today
And all of a sudden the screen went all fuzzy
Thought it was just the game so quit out of it, and the main menu was still fuzzy
So I rebooted and still the same
So I've had to wipe data and reinstall the ROM
Not sure if it was the game that caused this problem

That is a known bug going around at the moment. Nothing to really worry about at this stage.

Is it a bug just on this ROM?
Or the HTC Sensation in general?

The ROM, it seems to plague a couple of custom ROMs.

Hey guys, P3D v4.0 Coming tonight, You DONT need to update radio (and no point in trying). its based on the latest WWE 2.3.4 leak and its running mint, the old one (v3.1) was a mix of the Chinese version that got released so alot better in the next one.

Thanks for the heads-up. Will Titanium Backup be included?

lokhor: No problem, hopefully it works for you.

I gave my phone to a friend who works for Vodafone, and he dropped back off just now saying that the only problem was with the APN settings. I checked them against the ones in the thread here:
------------------------------------------------------
Name Vodafone NZ
apn www.vodafone.net.nz
Proxy -
port -
username -
password -
server -
mmsc null
mms proxy -
mms port -
mcc - 530
mnc -
apn type - default (type this in)
------------------------------------------------------

and found that the only difference to the APN now set on my phone is that
"Authentication type - PAP" which  is not included in the list above appears below "mnc" and above "APN type" and that "APN type", which I had set to "default" as per the instructions in the thread here,  has now been reset to "not set". I am passing this on in case the information is of use to anyone else having this issue. I had triple-checked that I entered the values EXACRLY as the APN thread here listed them, and now I realise that, at least here in Hastings, those values are not quite completely correct.
