A lot of 3D games are having corrupted graphics and require a reboot in the latest base rom, even the stock rom is apparently affected. check out the InsertCoin thread

I went to show off my phone to a friend today by playing an HD mp4 I put on it the day I got the phone and have watched many times since. Today, no video, only audio. I tried the other mp4 I have on the same card, same result. They will start with a still of the opening frame and the audio will keep running but if I pause and restart the audio resumes on a black screen. This was with the stock video player, the only one I have installed. Any suggestions gratefully received. Stock ROM no mods at all Android 2.3.3 Sense 3.0

That sounds a bit weird. Did you try rebooting? I use DicePlayer and have never had issues with playing video of all formats.

Thanks! I'd tried the IT Crowd solution, but a warm reboot did the job. Much obliged!

Already running it ;)

GPS took ages to lock and had to change the language from default to use language that fits best in map settings(it was showing some sort of asian language) No major issues so far though. I'll keep playing around with it. Green P3D looks good.

Has anyone on Stock ROM received the 2.3.4 update yet? Still nothing on my Clove sourced Sensation. Apparently makes quite a few improvements

I'm still waiting for mine to receive the update as well. Wonder why it's not coming through yet....

I got told by HTC customer services that they were still making changes to the update for the other regions of the world and there was no definite date for release

Work has just given me the option to upgrade from my Galaxy S to a HTC Sensation. I see some people on here have done that.

Is the Sensation that much better? Is it easy to root?

I'm happy with moving from an SGS to the HTC Sensation. At first I wasn't sure but after spending some time with it I'm now a Sensation advocate. It is not especially difficult to root, however you do need to unlock the bootloader first using a tool from revolutionary.io

Quite a number of us are running custom roms based on the recent 2.3.4 release and it really is buttery smooth.

I'd take a Sensation over the original Galaxy S for sure.
