Hey guys, been sick as! anyway quick update. I ported the HTC Sensation XE ROM (The beats audio device) properly and uploading tonight, (i wouldnt really call it a port though cause its basically the same phone). The random rebooting issues have been because of the kernel which have been all ironed out now, Problem was i was using the N series version which was a little unstable.

So now im running the faux 0.1.7 kernel (released tonight) at max 1.56ghz. Havent found any bugs at all and ive fixed other things like the weird battery icon when charging etc...

Also i have the stock radio ill upload it soon

So what is the difference between faux123 kernel 0.1.6 which is in the new revolution rom and faux123 kernel 0.1.7 in your new one?

the 0.1.6 version breaks the camera, plus its just a little more responsive when changing CPU levels

ahh very nice; thank you for your quick response.

Now if only multiupload would download a bit faster, was sitting at 300KB/s downloading and now for the last 5 or so mins is crawling at a miserable 8-13KB/s

Flashed p3d xe. Ran cf benchmark and scored 4.9k. Hopefully we can get the camera back at some point as it was the second most favourite part of these roms after the speed.

Only took 3 weeks but now I am running Android Revolution HD™ 3.5.1 XE.

Nice and snappy and I like having less bloatware on the phone. Was going to remove Sense but happy at the moment to leave it there.

I am not seeing a difference in speed between sense and non sense with this rom; bloody quick that is all.

So it's been a while since I've been on this thread... I've been missing all the goss!

And tonight I saw somewhere that there was a new version of the Sensation being released so that prompted me to get back here and see what's new.

I'm still running the phone stock as, haven't done anything to it, however I see there are a number of people running custom ROMs now so it may be time that I investigate this, however think I'm still too n00b with Android to do this confidently myself, maybe a local friendly person (I'm looking at lokhor, haha) can help me out?

I have also received my phone mount, and I really, really like it. It's not designed for any specific phone, so it can be used for anything. It's basically like a vice grip for a phone, or even a slim digital camera if you wanted to! With the rubber grips, it'll pretty much hold anything.

The spring is firm, it takes a bit of strength to get it open, so it's not going to come loose in a hurry. And as you can tell by the pics, the jaws stretch out a long way so it will get around any kind of case you may have on it. The cup is also adhesive as well as suction, so it's a two-fold approach. You can even use it in the opposite way for larger items - use the jaws to grip onto something, and use the suction / adhesive cup to hold the item you wish to hold - iPad or similar for eg.

For those that weren't around when I first posted that I had got it, it's from Exogear, and bought it from Ebay. Do a google search and look at the reviews / vids.
