Having just got a new HTC Sensation, I want to do a factory reset on my X10 mini pro to clear it all and set it up for my wife to use. Googling "factory reset" brings up lots of links saying that the option should be in "Settings>SD card & phone storage" but it's not there in mine, only "format SD card".
I don't want to root it, just reset it so that it can be set with her Google account as the primary, because at present, I can't even get her account on there at all. Every time  I try to add her account. I get either " "can't establish a reliable data connection to server" or "you have no network connection" - this despite being on my home wi-fi with a very strong signal. I know the login details are correct because they access her google account online, but I can't add her account. That's why I want to try resetting the phone, which I also can't find how to do.

go into the settings and it's under privacy and there's an option to wipe data/reset
