There's a telecom splash screen when you turn it on and off

The browser has been renamed Yahoo/Xtra, there's a link to your telecom and the email signature says somthing about 'telecom smartphone network'

You can change some of it but it's a bit of a pain especially renaming the browser (which telecom do on all samsung devices) how stupid is that?

cokemaster: I have a normal release sensation - it has 'Internet' as the default browser name, and also has browser shortcuts to "Y!X Tworld" and "Your Telecom" (actual wording) in the application screen.

I believe by default, it also puts those shortcuts on your home screen but they can be removed just like any other widget/icon.

There's no 'internet' on the SGS2 (telecom version) nor was there on the Galaxy 5 - telecom for some reason decided to rename it (as above) to Y!X Tworld - some idiot at telecom must have thought this was a good idea.

While the main user of the device can get used to it - ask a 'non user' to find the browser then watch them open all the apps for the next 10 minutes until they find it - it's like a brain teaser game built into the OS.

mcraenz: Just got my GS2 XT. First thing I did was turn it on and look for the browser icon. By all means add a shortcut to telecom or yahoo or whatever but why take a away the browser icon? Is this some kind of trick? Anyway can I load a stock Samsung rom on this thing? How? Where?
