hey does anyone know when the 2.3 update for the lg black p970 is comeing out,heard it was going to me last month but nothing as yet?

I've heard from two good sources recently that it's due next month. I noticed on the weekend that a v20a 2.3 beta ROM had been leaked and there were a lot of people installing this and discussing it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1310093 *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? This is not an OTA update and requires the LG software so ultimately they control when the update will appear. I know LG in NZ were saying September a few months ago, a date that clearly wasn't correct. *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? Check my blog post

yep tryd the lg nz site nothing there(its on the uk and also brazil lg site,would it be safe to down load from there?)as for the call centre their no help at all!

TENKAN: yep tryd the lg nz site nothing there(its on the uk and also brazil lg site,would it be safe to down load from there?)as for the call centre their no help at all! I know there is nothing on the NZ site, but have you tried contacting LG to see what they say? Where did you see it on the UK site? The update can only be downloaded uding the LG Updater software, and just checking this now it still only shows the v10 releases no matter what country you select. *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? 2.3 update will be v20 The current NZ update is v10c, phones in NZ are still shipping with v10b *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? Check my blog post

This thread prompted me to send a email to NZ LG concerning the 2.3 update for my daughters LG P500h. Got a reply back less then an hour later to say that it had been released two weeks ago and sure enough ran the update when I got home :) Media centre PC - Case Silverstone LC16M with 2 X 80mm AcoustiFan DustPROOF, MOBO Gigabyte MA785GT-UD3H, CPU AMD X2 240 under volted, RAM 4 Gig DDR3 1033, HDD 120Gig System/512Gig data, Tuners 2 X Hauppauge HVR-3000, 1 X HVR-2200, Video Palit GT 220, Sound Realtek 886A HD (onboard), Optical LiteOn DH-401S Blue-ray using TotalMedia Theatre Power Corsair VX Series, 450W ATX PSU OS Windows 7 x64

hi there,hey it is sold there on the sprint network,but its known as ls855 marquee,it ships with 2.3,so we cant be far from getting it here(i'v sent lg another email so with luck will hear back from them soon)
