I saw a few blog posts this morning stating that Google+ is now open to Google Apps accounts - yay!! Now I have a Google+ profile attached to my account, all good!

The problem is now on my HTC Desire. I have installed Google+ app but it keeps coming back with server connection error. Anyone else having this problem? I'm wondering if this is a ROM-specific error...

Is your G+ profile using a Google App account? or plain Google/Gmail account?

I try to use Google Plus app on my Cyanogen 7.1 Nexus S, and it comes back saying server error... Not sure why either.

I'm using G apps for bus.

I saw a comment on the Google Enterprise Blog this morning that there was going to be a new version of the Google+ android app released in the next couple of days that would allow you to log in with you google apps login - the current one doesn't seem to allow it...

Well that's a bit of good news! I know the version of MIUI I'm using doesn't identify itself properly as an HTC Desire device - due to the fingerprint value in build.prop file. I wondered if it was that.... it has caused problems with the Market. I'm hoping I won't need to deal with that!

Have you turned Google+ on in your Google Apps domain settings?

heh - just making sure! I've just turned G+ on for my Apps domain as well, and then saw this at the bottom:

Notes:

Changing the availability of the service for an organizational unit also affects any organizational units that are its children in the organizational tree. The children organizational units inherit the new setting unless they override it.
It may take up to 24 hours for a service on/off change to take effect.

I have a feeling that only applies to the enabling of the service itself. The service is operating for me - I can actually access G+ through my browser. I don't think that note applies to the Android app. Having said that, I'll try again over the next 24 hours.

Hrm. I can't use my Apps account on the mobile G+ app either.
Must be an update on its way then :)

Hey did G+ show up for you immediately after you enabled it? Hasn't shown up for me yet.

In your admin page go to "Organization/Users" tab, select "Services", and there's a list there...
