My Note just came up with an OTA update... Pretty sure it's an NZ phone. Could the wait be over.

Got the update Monday night via KIES.

Didn't take too long and looks a little different but not too much so.
Now maybe try a new launcher as the Touchwiz is basically the same as Gingerbread.
APC mag suggested Apex Launcher.

One App that makes a real difference is : Swiftkey 3
This learns your words and the order you use them and then makes quick and strangely accurate suggestions.

No real problems with power usage though have installed CPU spy to check on CPU speeds and times.

Samsung Australia are still dragging the chain.

Does the flash memory issue that 4.03? had exist in 4.04?

Anyone tried the new "universal" kernel?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31090787

On my note running CM 9.1, it completely stuffed the phone requiring a Nandroid restore, I seem to be the only one who is having problems though which is bizarre as I've not got anything unusual setup.

"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your".  "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There".  You probably mean "lose" not "loose".  There's no such word as "Alot".

I got this update on my note today. I like the addition of the popup video player. I can't find much else new other than the look and feel. It did reset my home screens which was a bit annoying.

Lol knowing Vodafone it'll take them another year. I got sick of waiting for ice cream sandwich so I rooted and put on cyanogen. Recently upgraded to the note 2.
