Video demo of the GPS, couple of picture-in-picture screencasts to show GPSinfo and the Navigation screen on the same route too (different trips, immediately following each other):

Detailed blog post to accompany all this @ AndroidNZ.net including lots of raw MyTracks KML files for people to pore over should they feel the need.

That is true, but perhaps you meant that to go in a different thread?

NZtechfreak, another great video. What is battery life like when using GPS?

Seems decent, I had this yesterday:

#GalaxyNote battery today: down to 66% after 1h43m screen on 8hrs off charger (~30mins full brightness doing GPS tests) - pretty good!

What's it been like to use as a "normal user"?
I.E. your personal opinion rather than a reviewer :D

Easy to use, carry around, battery use, etc ?

Never mind my previous post, I'll find out in week (or so) for myself.

Thanks to NZtechfreak for the reviews.

Yeah ... wanted one since I saw it on gsmarena but tried to resist the temptation as I have an SGS2 and an HTC Titan ...

Techgeekiness won out (with the help of your reviews) :(

Ordered from Clove last night and it's been dispatched already.

@NZTechFreak - Do you recall what make/model your car mount is? I need a new one for my SGS2 and my current car doesn't play nice with the air-vent mounted one I have.

"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your".  "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There".  You probably mean "lose" not "loose".  There's no such word as "Alot".

Can't remember, but should be able to track down the Trademe details in my Gmail. Will get back to you.

The base it's stuck to is actually from a Dick Smith phone holder though (its stuck to the dash, and fortuitously the Trademe cradle has a compatibile fitting for it at the back).
