We're really this slow in NZ? Even Aussie got them blue phones in 16/32 before us. And we launched the S3 before they did as well. Samsung really F with us all because we have less people.

Well that's the reality of living in a small isolated country with a small market, it's not specific to Samsung.

We launched the same day as Australia did as well.

I think overall we do pretty well for our size (market and geographical).

Ummm. . . .It's called Commerce.  In order to recoup as much of the money outlayed on R&D as quickly as possible, you sell at a premium price to the Early Adopter market segment.

Your SIG is a bit too over killed and too long.

:) Can you shorten it? Not that it is a problem but it just taking a big chunk on my S2 screen hehe.

Yeah I understand the commerce schnitzel way of marketing stuff. Just ranting my desperation that is all lol. Being jealous of the Aussie is not a new thing :D but at least NZ is still safer to live than over there.

You are actually probably right!

NZ has a much higher violent crime rate, especially child abuse, while Australia has a higher burglary rate.

Both AU/NZ are pretty much equal on homicide rate though!

Give me higher burglary over violent crime any day!

It's probably a lot different in terms of reported crime too.  The news here seems to push violent crime as all the lead stories.

Still wavering over waiting. So frustrated with myself but I buy one phone every 2-3 years so I know I need to see one then decide.

MurrayM: And now Apple want to block the S3: http://www.androidguys.com/2012/06/06/apple-adds-samsung-galaxy-s-iii-to-suit-renews-complaints-with-htc/

They should change their name to Rotten Apple. And unified search infringes on Siri? Umm, S-Voice is based on Vlingo is it not? Which has been around longer than Siri.
