sqlpro: and screen test with knife, scary !!

Wow, makes screen protectors seem a little silly

that video was pointless and stupid. of course a knife wont scratch it, it wouldnt scratch any decent glass either. Steel is softer than glass. I dont know why people equate a sharp edge with scratchability....

what we need to see is someone putting some sand on it and giving it a rub.

Ah I never thought of that! I was quite amazed that it didn't get scratched...shows how much I know :)

Quick question for the folks with an XT SIII, is it branded anywhere on the case?

No. Don't think any S3's are branded (physically)

No branding except when you boot up the phone. It will say GT-i9300T and then a Telecom BootScreen.

So how's the call quality now on your new one?

Life is mostly froth and bubble, two things stand like stone - kindness in another's trouble, courage in your own.

SGSIII
ROM: WanamLite v1.3    Kernel: Ninphetamine v1.1.0   Modem: DXLEA

SGSII (Now belongs to SWMBO)
ROM: WanamLite v12     Kernel: Siyah v3.3.2   Modem: BVLPB

SGS
 (Cat's chew toy)

If you need a download-mode jig ASAP, you're welcome to borrow mine!  Works with SGS I/II/III.  I also have a SIM cutter available (Dunedin) - happy to post either to you at your cost.
