chovik: Is any one else having the problem that when people ring you that they are unable to hear the very first~ 1.5 seconds or so of speach...ie they do not hear you saying "hello" or if they do it is very muted...even if you delay saying hello it seems that the very initial period of speach is muted somewhat....most people who ring ask ..."are you there?" because they do not hear you answer. And I have checked that I am not covering the microphone.

i made many calls and no one complained until this afternoon. only difference i noticed was it was on speaker and bottom of the phone in my palm (covering mic at the bottom) and lady on the other end said my voice is low can you speak louder.

BUT as per the manual ,when on speaker the microphone on top will be used not one at the bottom so am puzzled.

Only the very begining of the call is muffled..it is almost like something electronic kicks in and then everything becomes crystal clear??

Looks like you can repair a hard bricked SGSIII with nothing more than an SD card and a pair of tweezers!!

Anyone thinking about modifying an HP Touchstone wireless charging kit for their S3? ala: this.

I'm thinking i'll grab a kit from Ebay and see how I go. I do enjoy hardware tinkering more than software roms so this is right up my alley.

The bulge would put me off, though it's a cool idea.

The thing is, that with a cradle, it will charge AND you can see the screen.

Something a bit weird happened to my S3 this morning when I unlocked the screen for the first time today.

It immediately opened up the video player. So I thought that I must have accidentally tapped something and I pressed back to go back. This landed me in the ASB mobile banking app, which I haven't opened for a couple of days. Pressing back again landed me in a game that I haven't played since the weekend. I pressed the home button and the home screen came up.

I don't know how all these apps started up by themselves, very strange. My partner swears she hasn't touched my phone.
