be interesting to see if the HTX holds up long term, seems a great phone but the Sensation was supposed to be as well but dropped away quickly.

Gotta love competition like this always good for the consumer.

Really interested in the Iphone 5 and how it comes out should be something amazing after the 4S let down

Why don't they just make a 2 gb phone if it's not that important?

Geez guys, 8GB wasn't enough on SG1, 16 GB isn't enough on SG2.......why can't I want more more internal capacity, they do make them right?

Anyway, I'd prefer 32GB over 16GB but I'll still buy a 16GB if that is the only option here.

its entirely your choice, 2gb isn't enough if you want to use apps. I think people were trying to understand the why's as it didn't really make sense given your posts but as I said your choice go ahead and full ya boots ;)

The only reason I can see for wanting more than 16GB base, is if you wanted more than 80GB total, since you can buy upto 64GB SD Cards far far cheaper than the price difference in internal storage between models

Yeah, I don't often make sense ;)

Anyway, maybe I'm just greedy, I want more internal memory and maybe add external when I need to, but looks like I'm a minority, no big deal.

Cheers for that comparison link BTW...

so based on this HTC One X is priced really well ($999 retail) as it only has a 32GB model and everything indicates that S3 16GB would be $1100 or so when released.

Me too, might go for the 32 but probably the 64, depending on when it becomes available.

it's a shame the HTC One X beats the S3 in low light camera shots, because I think that's the most important bit to get right.
