I've had notification of the update, tried to install, but each time I get an error; something along the lines of:
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
I'm rooted via cf6.1, but others seem to be ok with that?

I thought 6.3 worked fine with OTA, but you then need to flash CFroot through odin again

Aha! Thanks for that, updating to cf6.3 did the trick.

Reflashing CFroot is a small price to pay for keeping that "up-to-date" feeling.

Cheers!

Bah. Stock, vendor provided ROMs are still stale. You gotta go custom ROM & kernel if you really want to live on the bleeding knuckles, up-to-date edge, my friend ;)

re heat issues, you mention only back getting warm not the screen. I noticed this heat issue (front screen as well) when playing real racing game AND one other occassion when roaming. is this something to be concerned ?

My back gets warm when Im playing something like GTA for a long time. That shouldn't be anything to be concerned about.

I'm not sure about the front, but I remember reading that the HTC One X's screen get's hot as well as the front.

MapsWithMe is a good free offline maps for the phone.

I downloaded it today and seems good

the swipe to screenshot on this phone can be annoying as it moves the page youre looking at.
Any other ways of taking screenshots?

Hi everyone . I'm new here. and I used to had an iphone but decided to try on samsung galaxy s3 now. just got my 32gb s3 2 days ago and I am honestly very confused of how to use it.
can someone help with these problems :

1) how to do screenshot on s3, BUT, I do not want to use the "palm swipe to capture" feature. it doesnt work very well. coz on certain page or screen, I ended up touching something else with my palm instead of doing a screenshot.

2) I've downloaded the GO SMS pro. and I can now use emoji , but only for text msging. anyone knows how to apply the emoji to the keyboard? so that I can use the emoji while typing on twitter, whatsapp, etc.

Thank you very much for the help before hand. cheers :)
