re heat issues, you mention only back getting warm not the screen. I noticed this heat issue (front screen as well) when playing real racing game AND one other occassion when roaming. is this something to be concerned ?

I've never noticed the front getting warm but I dunno if it's something to be concerned about or not. The One X's screen did get quite warm at times

{Bah. Stock, vendor provided ROMs are still stale. You gotta go custom ROM & kernel if you really want to live on the bleeding knuckles, up-to-date edge, my friend ;)

Come hang out with the real kool crowd at xda: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1566 }

not sure anyone on this thread is interested in flashing custom Roms. I flashed foxhound yesterday and very impressed thus far.

I'm going to flash custom when ROMs become more stable.
I don't see the point in flashing just yet with very little differences to stock (Stock performs very well, battery life etc)
CM9 looks promising, and now with JB coming, I might wait for a stable(ish) ROM of that to land.
I also wanted a roll back to stock if thigns failed (I have the 9300T, but the Vodafone PDA should work fine as rollback)

I just tested it on my S3 and it worked fine.  I pressed both buttons at exactly the same time and then let go.  There was a photo shutter noise and a message in the notification area say it was saving the screen shot.

Screen capture easier with a swipe of your hand across the front face of your phone

When doing the screen swipe do you actually touch the surface of the screen or do you swipe just above the screen?

not sure your of your interpretation of stable but in my opinion they are very stable. The one I'm using is fine no problems what so ever and all the benefits of custom roms. The stock rom is good but never liked all the bloatware and also like some themeing but it is a matter of choice.
