YodAboY: I thought 6.3 worked fine with OTA, but you then need to flash CFroot through odin again

Aha! Thanks for that, updating to cf6.3 did the trick.

Reflashing CFroot is a small price to pay for keeping that "up-to-date" feeling.

Cheers!

Hi YodAboY, was the data all wiped when you installed the update or unaffected at all?

Power and home button at the same time :]

it doesnt work on my s3 :(

Me neither Home and power does nothing

I just tested it on my S3 and it worked fine.  I pressed both buttons at exactly the same time and then let go.  There was a photo shutter noise and a message in the notification area say it was saving the screen shot.

Works fine for me too.

I was less tense at the final of the world cup :)

It was an epic win and it was good the Chiefs scored after the Crusaders were incorrectly awarded that try.

Crusaders for Super Rugby Champions 2012!

Bhavicp: What widget is that on the top (for plan information) looks quite neat.

I'd like to know this too..

noobandroiduser:
1) how to do screenshot on s3, BUT, I do not want to use the "palm swipe to capture" feature. it doesnt work very well. coz on certain page or screen, I ended up touching something else with my palm instead of doing a screenshot.

Others have answered, but don't use your palm. use the side of your hand.

psychrn: Yes mine went to 4.0.4 last night .

I thought it was already on 4.0.4.

I see the latest VF upgrade is already available on SamMobile.

Nothing on there at all for the Telecom S3. Odd.

My Telecom S3 was at 4.0.4 when I got it, so I don't think an update to 4.0.4 is required ;)

Telecom are still on LE6, aren't they.

VF came with LE8 and has now updated to LF2.

They are a bit behind the times Telecom, why are they always so late to the game.

Networkn I used to be on Omega on teh S2 but Foxhound blows it away. Been on a couple of days now and no issues what so ever. I wrote previously it has a great OTA app included in settings, also has Aroma installer which lets you choose the type of install when in recovery. Give it a whirl I'd be interested in your observations.
