Yeah not sold on the red myself. I used to have a red Motorola RAZR V3, the beautifully thin flip phone. THAT looked hot in Liverpool red. Wife had gold, looked awesome as well.

Wouldn't mind checking out thhe Black S3, that looks gorgeous.

networkn: What is Reset CSC to BTU? I am running CheckROM EvoHD? V4 so I presume you would recommend against "migrating" from that as opposed to the method you used? I guess if I take a nandroid, I can always revert?

BTU is the unbranded UK version. I.e no carrier customization

Give it a go or wait for a checkrom jb Rom I can't imagine it will be more than days away :P

Checkrom? What would be the difference?

I imagine checkrom will be able to make a no wipe version that will happily install over checkrom ICS

I am more and more impressed by jb, it is far smoother and quicker responding than ICS. The browser looks indifferent but feels much superior

NZtechfreak: Just got my Garnet Red AT&T S3 yesterday, wow, it is a real looker.

2GB RAM but only dual core? How does it compare to other models?

The dual core is really no issue at all. Real issue with the internals is the under-powered GPU, I mean it's fine for present-gen Android games, but isn't as future proofed as the Mali in the International S3 (and for my needs not as good a fit as it struggles with emulators).

The 2GB RAM is nice, I think really the Int.S3 should have shipped with that. There are literally ZERO launcher redraws with that much RAM, it feels bottomless. Can't wait for the Note 2, which I presume will come with 2GB RAM and will essentially be a perfected S3 with the larger screen (which is only a positive to anyone who can handle the size of the Note, like myself and those other 9,999,999 folks).

as long as its for the international S3. Most rom kitchen or OTA app's will give you an option to change but not sure if they have them up and running for the JB roms yet.

So to get to the home screen you need to click two of them together 3 times? Wink
