Anyway, if you set your Samsung Apps store to NZ or England, you won't get much, Australia or the US is where you get the good deals. I always have it set to AU so I can get all the nice apps, games and deals

Just open the Samsung Apps app and search for it, it should be there.

Note that my Samsung apps profile is set to Australia and I use market enabler before downloading anything from it.

ahhh, thats my prob I guess, im still stock rom, I think I just found my first real reason to root . . .?

Thanks.

Seriously?? I found mine 5 minutes after I had my first android phone :) just to get the very annoying ads off my sight.

Oh I have rooted previous phones starting since the day I got my galaxy s 1. Just decided I would leave this stock for a while, see if I needed root. So far I haven't really wanted to flash any roms over so never bothered.

Fair enough, as long as you don't have reasons to root, it's a waste of time to root your phone. My reasons are simple:
1- adfree phone
2- Titanium backup and restore.

That's it :)

Search for it using the "Samsung Apps" app, if you can't find it, log in to samsung website, open "my account" and delete your account. Then sign up with the same email and info but with Australia as your country. Set "market enabler" to 50502 and enjoy downloading all the nice free offers from Samsung Apps such as the New Navigon NZ and AU, also the free games such as modern combat and shadowgun.

Any updates on recommended JB ROM's? I have been keeping an eye on the CheckROM but nothing from him so far as I don't think the official leak has occurred, and currently I am on his ICS ROM which is good.

I keep hearing how great JB is, but I would prefer a non wipe ROM.

According to this article, the official JB will be released this month (September)

God I hate apple. They see a good product, a successful very friendly OS (android) and instead of fairly competing with it, they just get money out of them in courts.

Apple goes after Galaxy S3, Note in new court filing

You will need to give the application root access, yes. There is no limit on how many times you can change the code, and when you want to go back to NZ app markets just select "Restore settings".

That's very useful mate, thanks. I have seen most of them for free in the Samsung Apps store. Which is quite cool for ad-free apps and games. The Virtua Tennis Challenge is also there for free.

30minutes spent so far on sgs3 deleting Samsung account then resign up now once I verify email address I can't for the life of me find my account settings windows.

Between chrome mobile just sitting vacantly thinking instead of loading Samsung pages and the confusing Samsung redirects my S3 has come close to being a Sundays morning Frisbee.

It took me 2 minutes, to delete my account and create it again with a different country, then everything went nice and smooth. I forgot to mention that you need to keep your password the same if you have this account added to your phone already.

Try deleting the Samsung account from "Accounts and sync" and then add it again.

Sounds like another leak due but LH9 has keyboard issues. I'm on wanaam's LH7 which is good but had issue with gallery not recognizing ext SD card but found fix for that, if I hadn't I was going back to ICS.

ICS is very stable so would stay on that until the official release and dev's have had a play around with it. As for being better, well thats subjective and i really can't say that I have noticed much if any differance so maybe its the placebo effect and more comments like "buttery smooth"etc etc.

I have deleted my samsung account, created another one, changed the country to Australia. Deleted the Samsung account from the phone, cleared the cache on the Samsung Apps on the phone. When I try to sign in to the Samsung apps on the phone I get the following message any ideas? I am running stock firmware and don't have root access yet.
